Grade A Himalayan cashmere is among the softest in the world, and this oversized scarf is made from it entirely by hand on traditional looms. But the material is only part of the story. Every scarf is woven through a nonprofit partnership that provides blind, deaf, and disabled weavers in Nepal with the tools, training, and income to live independently — in a society that has historically offered them neither opportunity nor dignity. It takes the wool of three goats to make a single scarf. The care that goes into sourcing it is matched only by the care that goes into weaving it.
